It is a mode of keeping parents and students informed about the school generally, and about events, schedules and important dates.
It is used as a way of communication between school and home.Teachers use it to inform parents about homework and other relevant, daily information. As a parent, you are encouraged to use the Channel Book to inform the school about what may be happening at home or to pose any questions you may have.
Parents - Teacher Conferences:
All parents are invited to attend the Parents - Teachers conference held ones per term.The purpose of the conference is to give you a period of time with each teacher to learn about the progress of your child at school. It is also an opportunity for parents to ask questions and raise concerns.
Meeting with the Division Supervisor (DS):
You can meet with the DS of your child's stage weekly according to the following schedule:
- Monday: Primary stage
- Tuesday: Prep/Sec. stage
- Wednesday: Pre-K stage
From 1.00 - 2.00 PM
Meeting with the Head of Department (HOD):
You can also meet HODs according to the following schedule:
- Wednesday: Primary stage from 11:30 - 12:30
- Thursday : Prep. / Sec. Stagefrom 12:00 - 01:00
Please set an appointment in order to prepare for the meeting.
Students will receive four reports through the year.
Meeting with the Principal:
If you feel that your issue was not resolved up to your expectations you can meet the school Principal, please make an appointment.
Contact with Teachers:
Direct communication with teachers is not advised. The best mean of contact is through the Stage DS's office in order to avoid any misunderstanding.
NB: If you arrive without an appointment, the particular member of staff you wish to meet might not be available, as our main priority is our students.
